Coro designed this brooch using shades of green, pink, salmon enamel over metal and finished it off with clear rhinestone centers.  The brooch is a stunning 3 inched in diameter and makes a great statement piece for spring or summer or just to add to your Coro collection.

A new addition to our listings is this vintage necklace constructed with fabulous materials and is a fine example of Retro art.  The detail on the lion’s face is just amazing.  Bakelite, plastic and carved burled wood pieces have been carefully set into a base of black — a perfect contrast for the delightful coloring of the lion’s face that forms the base of the necklace. The eyes are perfectly cut triangles of mother-of-pearl. It is easy to see why this vintage necklace became a book piece on page 275 of Marcia “Sparkles” Brown’s book on vintage jewelry entitled, Rhinestone Jewelry Figurals, Animals and Whimsicals, Copyright 2006, Marcia Brown, Publisher, Collector Books.
